A Very Special Citizen!

International House is pleased to announce that Jelena Held, a paralegal in our Immigration Law Clinic has obtained her US citizenship.

"It is very gratifying to achieve your immigration goals, and I feel so fortunate to have become an American citizen. After living here for almost eleven years, this has become my new country which I accepted wholeheartedly. Even though it was a long process and it wasn't always easy, the end result makes me that much happier. Thank you all my International House friends for your support!" says Jelena.
